Oregon Weekend
Went to Oregon last weekend. It was fun, hot, crowded and hot. The waves were small again. 3 Weeks of small/no surf makes Drex a dull boy. Here’s some pics:
2009 Clean Water Classic
There’s a surf contest this weekend in Westport. The 8th annual 2009 Clean Water Classic will kick off this Saturday the 16th of May. Chekalooka moved. I guess they weren’t feeling Fremont. Now they’re in Ballard–Shilshole to be exact. New Location: on the way to Shilshole/Golden Gardens from Ballard….just after you cross the train tracks and veer right, they’re located on the right. The Hood Canal Bridge is going to be closed for 6 weeks starting May 1st. WSDOT is replacing and/or rebuilding a bunch of structural stuff.
