Review: The Rascals
All Pow, Mostly Baker, No Double Corks. Basically what that means is if you live in the Northwest this is pretty much required viewing.
The Rascals was made by Bryan Fox and Scotty Wittlake. Includes the following dudes (in no particular order): Shaun McKay, Laing, Matt Edgars, Jake Blauvelt, Mark Landvik, Pat McCarthy, Temple Cummins, Forrest Burki, and a bunch of other dudes.
Feels like a video you’d make with your friends. If your friends all ripped pow to smithereens. Raw and grey, grainy footage with a smattering of sun. Just like Mt. Baker.
But for seriously, this video is legit. If Art of Flight is a Lamborghini, The Rascals is an old Toyota truck…as in it isn’t as fancy, but you don’t give a fuck cause you know it works.
Best part about The Rascals is it’s short. It took me twice as long to write this “review” as the movie is long.
Bonus: the song in the closing credits if from the greatest comedy of all time.
Check it out.
