The guys/gals at the Summit at Snoqualmie are ripping right along getting Hyak (aka Summit East) back in business for winter 2010/11. Two new chairlifts, one of which will be replacing the old Dinosaur Chair are slated to be open this coming winter.
The two new chairs will “provide access to 150 acres of skiing and riding, including 65 acres of terrain last accessible over 20 years ago.” That 65 acres is terrain on the backside. See the pics below.
