The author of Cosmic Banditos, In Search of Captain Zero, and Can’t You Get Along With Anyone? is working on a movie titled “Water Time; Surf Travel Diary of a MadMan.”
Dudes books are very entertaining. Especially since i’ve coincidentally been in a handful of the same place that he writes about in his books. Surfing, wandering, surviving. If you’ve ever thought to yourself, “F it…over it. Gonna head south, duck out for a while and surf” then read his books.

Cosmic Banditos is one of the funniest books ever… THAT would make a good flick.

And speaking od Saladita, can anyone recomend a cheap place to stay in Tuncones, like real basic, $20-$30 a night with 2 beds? Gonna be passing through from Zihat on my way to Nexpa in a few weeks.

Dogs of Winter isn’t the best of Nunn’s, “Tapping the Source” is much better…. “West of Jesus” is a good one (not religious at all, in fact its the opposite), “Breath” by Tim Winton is bueno too… Like me a good surf read when the olas are muey mal…
Yeah, I really dug “Tapping the Source”. “West of Jesus” didn’t keep me entertained.
Num and Weisbecker are on different levels, but have found both to have equally entertaining writing styles.
turns out after surfing in turkey town a whole bunch i thought i would read “Can’t You Get Along With Anyone”….I had been parking at Esteban Moras house and surfing with him a ton…nice enough dude. Even has a skate bowl at his pad. Just dont piss him off i guess.
