Got to surf La Push all by myself last weekend. Rare? Yes. Junky waves? Totally. But check out this huge tree that washed ashore!
There was one that washed on shore a few years ago that was pretty much the biggest tree i’ve ever seen. If you’ve been out there in the last couple years you probably know what i’m talking about. This new one makes that one look like a twig!

What are you a treeologist?! The trunk was prob 10 ft dbh? I don’t know. I didn’t have my tree core-er with me. The middle was hollowed out anyways. Could almost stand up inside.

Dude, totally. No smurfs but there was a bird inside it. Easily the largest tree I’ve ever seen. Never been to n cal though…
I saw it there a month or so ago..It might be a permanent LP fixture. Easiest paddle out was just north of it…
