Snoqualmie Pass is moving forward with implementing the Hyak (aka Summit East) part of their Master Development Plan. This summer they’ll be building a new top to bottom lift–no more two chair trip to the top. They’ll also be building a chair on the backside opening up about 65 acres of new or old terrain depending on how long you’ve been riding at Snoqualmie Pass.

Ahhh, the old up and over chair. I think I was still in my single digit years when that chair was running.
Hyak: the flat Alpental. Remembering the early days when they had the "sick pipe"…I think i'm starting to tear up a little.

I heard a story that one of the chairs got jiggy with it and threw some old people through the windows of the lodge, thats the story at least
