In a couple weeks Snoqualmie Pass will host one of the biggest contest it’s ever seen. Friday March 12th and Saturday the 13th the 9th annual Ride Shakedown will take place at Summit West.
The Pro/Am contest runs over a couple days and culminates in a final blow out aka The Shakedown. Rather than a rigorous contest format the Shakedown runs with more of a jam format. Shreds will be throwing down advanced maneuvers in both a rail jam and a big air competition vying for a $12,000 top prize. Whoa.
If you can’t make it up to this free event at Snoqualmie Pass, it will also be aired live via FUEL.tv webcast on March 13, 2010, starting at 1:45 p.m. (PST). If you really want to geek out there’s also a free iPhone app where you can follow the event. I read on the internet that if you go to the Ride Shakedown and watch it on your iPhone at the same time it will be in 4D.
The Hard Rock in downtown Seattle will host after parties both Friday and Saturday at 9pm. $15 Cover. I actually didn’t know there was a Hard Rock in Seattle…

I gotta admit..I went there a few times in high school with my little girlfriend… I shoulda saved my money and put it in MSFT but instead I put it into Tubs a few times…. pretty sure you can get STD’s just by going in there.. my manager at little Cesars (a biiiig woman), useta go there with her boyfriend (a biiiig brother)… thats how I learned about the place…. best wearing flip flops in there.. now I won’t go anywhere near small ponds or community hot tubs for fear of legionairs disease and herpes.. knowledge and maturity.. thats my point.. with age comes maturity.. and money.. yep… kinda like the iphone and this event
