I’ve been having problems with my leashes lately (we’re talking surf leashes here snobro). They keep ripping off my ankle after coming off waves.
I’m pretty sure it’s cause of my new sic-ass 7mm booties with my 5mm suit overtop for a combined 12mm of ankle rubber. The velcro isn’t wrapping far enough onto itself. It’s happened with 3 different leashes too.
Anyways…i’ve lost my boards(s) so many times in the last few sessions–from Maui(fun), to last weekend(all time). I’m now grabbing for my ankle/leash everytime i get blasted by a wave. I’ve watched my boards go sailing into the beach multiple times now. Luckily my Pod made it unscathed. My baby-blue Stretch however didn’t do so well. Paddled back to the rocky shore, found it laying upside down with the tip broken off. Nothing a little ding-dough can’t fix!

It looks like a sick, pale Gumby took a geometric shit on the nose of your board.
yeah. the whole board is fugly…thing has been beat to shit. rammed into reef, pile drived into rocks, bashed around by airline baggage handlers.
sturdy..but ugly. i don't think im even gonna sand it.
nice title
why not put it under your wetsuit? this also prevents it from spinning…
you could always put it on your wrist like the spongers, but paddling with one hand could be challenging, and you may only go in circles.
