The Cove 121909
Surfed the Cove last Saturday (12/19). Super fun, really big, savage. Fun, fast drops. Made it down the line only a few times, the rest were close out bombs. Surfed it on the incoming tide until it completely shut off. Here’s a few pics courtesy of kikopkau.com Here’s a vid of the wave explosion.

I’ve been having problems with my leashes lately (we’re talking surf leashes here snobro). They keep ripping off my ankle after coming off waves. I’m pretty sure it’s cause of my new sic-ass 7mm booties with my 5mm suit overtop for a combined 12mm of ankle rubber. The velcro isn’t wrapping far enough onto itself. [...]
