Early on in my surfing adventures i realized that i needed a mini-van. It wasn’t because i wanted to haul around all my sweet bros, nor did i think i’d have a better chance with soccer moms. It wasn’t even to help reduce my speeding ticket habit.
I wanted a mini-van purely for comfort. With a mini-van i don’t have to pitch a tent, i have a comfortable place to chill out of the elements, i can haul all my shit with room to spare, and i have a place to charge my iphone. Best of all, if you are able to con a girl to come out to the beach with you, you have a place to snuggle.
Ever since i got a mini-van, i’ve developed a bit of an infatuation. Check out these pics of van’s i’ve come across.

Man… all those vans suck. E-250 4×4 and above, aint no towing a boat, sled, or bro’s with one of those small child versions.

better yet, screw the e-250′s. If your going to spend big money like that, get the modded sprinter van. Plenty of power and headroom. Also, for the small ones….that Mitsubishi 4wd that you see at Westport every now and then is pretty sick. I’m pretty sure they don’t even sell those in the states though.

hells yeah duke… the astro van… however, astro/safari are not mini-vans. mini-vans are built like cars (unibody) astro vans are built like traditional van’s. aka trucks. frame on body.
astro/safaris are one of a kind…. (well two of a kind… the ford aerostar was also built as a traditional van) 4.3L V6 and can tow 5k. and can get AWD. there is not a mini-van out there that can tow/haul as much. RIP astro/safari… RIP… last run 2005
with that said anyone wanna buy a 2000 astro AWD? Gibson 3″ inch exhaust, volant cool air intake, beefed up tranny with ‘the beast’, tranny oil cooler… 130K miles… built to tow/climb $2500.. slight tree damage.

i am currently working on a camper conversion for my 95 jeep cherokee . i will put pics up when its done basically its a fold out tailgate/bed extension and tent cover for the back with a roll out mattress . its not a bad set up
