Is it me or do the shred flicks drop earlier and earlier each year? August?
Standard Films, Black Winter played Friday night at the King Kat in Seattle. Flick was rad. Lotta spinning, double corks and sweet aerial shots. It’s getting to the point where i don’t recognize the names in the flick anymore. I’m okay with that.
Premiere season isn’t really about checking out sic shred flicks anyways. It’s about drinking beer with friends you haven’t seen in a while. And girls.
After the movie, everyone poured out to the Hurricane (totally rad) and the Whiskey Bar. I rolled to the Hurricane 1st. Shots, beers and epic hurricane katrina’s went down. Check vid below for the epicness.
After the Hurricane we rolled over to Whiskey Bar. There was a hold up to get in. Max capacity. On top of that the Whiskey Bar runs a cash only program. Their ATM was broke. I managed to get in and bought a beer with the 5 bucks i had left. I ended up going to leak and when i came out all hell had broke loose. People running around everywhere. Evidently a few guys got maced, and tazed by the Whiskey Bar staff. I didn’t see it, not totally sure why it happened. But it was totally rad.
Snowboarding could use a little more rowdy. I dig.

Also, that picture of Lucas perfectly explains what happened at the Whiskey Bar. I can’t wait for Absinthe…I read that Bode got the ending part and from the clips I’ve seen of the film it looks to be the best video of all time. Check this shit…
