S-man your approaching this thing all wrong. Don't assume that is the head of the creature. Look at the direction of the Transverse Process (spines off the right and left of the vertebrae). They point towards the head and are more directional near the hips and less pronounced near the head. What also may appear to be the bridge of the creatures nose, or snout, is actually the base of the spine and beginning of the tail.
