We are planning on staying in the Malpais, Playa del Carmen, Santa Teresa area. I've heard they have consistently good beach breaks. Which works for us, since we've only been surfing for a year in Florida waves. Can you tell me anything about this area? Are there better places to go that aren't super packed like Tamarindo?
